A Pursuit of Home Review

Updated: Nov 24, 2021

A Pursuit of Home by Kristi Ann Hunter is a stunning conclusion to a wonderful series! Kristi Ann Hunter has completely surpassed all of my expectations with this long-awaited tale.

Having first "met" Jess in A Noble Masquerade, I've waited a very long time to finally read her story (it did not disappoint).

I absolutely loved the banter between Jess and Derek (so many of their conversations had that special, laugh-out-loud "factor" unique to Kristi's writing). The way their relationship naturally developed from irritated acquaintances to a comfortable friendship, before moving on to a heartwarming romance was seamless and added so much depth to the story, as well as to the characters.

Overall, it is an exquisite tale, complete with mystery, humour, danger, adventure, and of course, romance!

I'd recommend it to fans of Jane Austen, Regency Romance, and Historical Christian Romance/Adventure.
